We provide annual audit services to SMEs, family-owned businesses and groups (International/UK) with annual turnovers ranging from £1 million to £100 million. Our clients include groups of entities that require audits as they are part of the group, companies that exceed the audit threshold, and therefore, it is mandatory for them to get their financial statements audited. We also work with companies that don’t exceed the audit threshold but require a voluntary audit of their financial statement for several reasons.
COMPANY’S STATUTORY AUDIT
We provide external audit services to companies that have or exceed any two or more of the below criteria and are legally required to have a statutory audit of their company:
- More than 50 employees on average
- Gross assets worth more than £5.1 million
- An annual turnover of more than £10.2 million
Our limited company audits are designed to ensure compliance with the relevant accounting standards (IFRS or FRS 102), International Standard of Auditing (ISA), Companies Act 2006 and other relevant UK legislation.
UK GROUP AUDIT
If a UK company controls other entities, then it heads a group and may need to prepare consolidated financial statements and have these audited. We have a vast amount of experience in acting as group auditors. We will oversee the whole group audit process in accordance with ISA600 (revised), liaising with component auditors to ensure that the group audit is completed within the required timeframes.
An auditor must be registered with a recognised professional body to provide this service. We are registered with The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and are authorised to operate as registered auditors in the UK under registration number 2000001015.
